CelebrityMe - Facebook Game from MMOHUNTER.COM

Have you ever envied the celebrities dressing to kill and posing to enchant on the red carpet? Have you wished at least once that you are the center of a party or the cover figure in fashion magazines? Or have you dreamed, no, stop all envy, wish or dream and BE the celebrity in CelebrityMe, the new title on Facebook.

CelebrityMe

You start from creating your celebrity. Just as most celebrities will present the perfect image, you have to go through a detailed customization selecting from hair (up to 111 options), eyes (27), mouth (18), nose (9) and skin color. Once the creation is done, you dress up in vintage style and next moment you are already in front of the Ming?s Shangri-La Theater. Pose for paparazzi, sign autography for a fan, star in a movie and accept an interview from Whitney Opera. And with the interview, all flashes back to your early life in a little place called Venice Beach where you enter the world of glamour and rise to finally make the meteoric success.

Back in the town of Venice Beach, you read tablets to learn who?s who, go shopping to meet different dressing codes in style of business, casual, nightlife, vintage and beach, pose for photographers from vogue magazines like Peeps and Me Weekly, attend parties and star in movies to boost popularity, and so on and so forth. Styled side-scrolling, the town is generally divided into three zones ? storefronts for shopping (except the cinema) on the top, Greenland in the middle for movie shows, and beach for personal activities such as doing yoga or taking sunbath in preparation for gigs and films. Scattered here and there are NPCs ? photographers, social butterfly, street performers and musicians, etc. ? who will take you into parties, shows, rap challenge and the like.

To star in a movie, you first go shopping for the required clothing, then spin to select a scene, sometimes cast Facebook friends or NPCs in certain roles, watch it play on in cinema, see the positive reviews pop up and then collect money. Honestly, it?s not very interesting: the scenes are stale and lousy (luckily that you can skip the showing part in cinema) and not a single design infuses fun into clicking. It?s not much different in other activities. And all activities cost certain Energy and have a cool down time.

Being on Facebook, it is no exception in terms of Friend Invite. In some quests, you have to ask friends to gather certain items; and also in films, sometimes you need to cast friends in a role, or spend cash gained by playing or Glitz, the premium currency hiring NPC instead. Micro-transaction is certainly one way to make profits, but not the only one in the game. You can also find ads pop up when you watch movies in cinema and the direct realistic, in contrast to the stylish, rolling headlines from hitfix, such as Sam Worthington and Liam Neeson explains why ?Wrath of the Titans? tops ?Clash?, or Bon Iver collaborates with Flaming Lips on ?Ashes in the Air?.

CelebrityMe is a game that?s targeted specific type of players instead of wide audience. It depicts the celebrity lifestyle not as shining and interesting as you imagined. Initially appealing, everything in it falls flat quickly and fades into emptiness. Perhaps, a unintended parody for the reality?
